Harnessing the law to combat antisemitism

The Jewish Centre for Law & Justice (JCLJ) is Australia’s national independent legal
organisation dedicated to tackling antisemitism. We arrange expert legal advice and
representation for those who need it through our community legal service JCLJ Legal
Services Ltd, support public interest cases through JCLJ Support Ltd, and work to
ensure that the law protects human rights, dignity, and safety.

About Us

JCLJ was established in 2024 to fill a critical gap in community services: a centralised, independent national legal service
dedicated to responding to antisemitism.

Existing legal protections are often under-used or hard to access. JCLJ helps people facing or fighting antisemitism to seek justice through the legal system and uphold fundamental human rights.

How We Can Help

Legal Empowerment

We help people facing or fighting antisemitism take action to defend their
fundamental human rights.

Legal Tools and Resources

We provide clear, practical information to strengthen understanding of rights,
obligations and options.

Public Interest Litigation

Like other not-for-profit legal organisations, we support suitable public interest cases.

Collaboration

We prioritise close collaboration with community organisations to ensure our work is
strategic and effective.

Support Us

JCLJ welcomes donations and support from the community in the form of both time and expertise.

We are also building a network of top Australian lawyers prepared to support the fight against antisemitism.

Your support is crucial to sustaining and advancing our work.
